Biz-Catalyst is a trading name of Sekules Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 08827148, registered office 88 Grove Road, Gosport, PO12 4JN. For the personal data described in this policy, we are the data controller, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration reference ZA911677. 1. Two kinds of data, and which this policy covers
Your account data: the information you give us to run your Biz-Catalyst account (names, email addresses, company details, billing information). We are the controller for this data, and this policy describes how we handle it.
Data you put into the apps: for example, contacts, quotes, bookings, and documents belonging to your customers. For this data, you are the controller and we are your processor: we store and process it only on your instructions to provide the service, under our Data Processing Agreement (available on request at enquiries@biz-catalyst.com). This policy doesn't govern that data; your own privacy practices do.
2. What we collect and why

We don't collect more than we need, we don't sell personal data, and we don't use your data for third-party advertising.
Full card details never touch our servers; payments are handled by Stripe, who receive your payment information directly.
3. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to run the platform:
- Stripe: payment processing and invoicing.
- Google Workspace: our business email.
- Hostinger: server hosting; our servers are located in Manchester, UK.
- Brevo: sending transactional emails (notifications, receipts) on our behalf.
We share data with these providers only as needed to provide the service. Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the UK's adequacy arrangements or the international data transfer addendum). We don't share your data with anyone else unless legally required to.
4. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. If you close your account, we retain your data for 90 days to allow reactivation or export, then delete it. Billing records are kept for six years as required by UK tax law. Logs are kept for a shorter operational period.
5. Cookies and local storage
The platform uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. That's essential to the service working. We don't use advertising cookies, and our public pages don't include third-party trackers or analytics.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it deleted, receive it in a portable format, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email enquiries@biz-catalyst.com and we'll respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify account holders by email or in-platform notification before they take effect.
